Delaware Limo Roundtable: Empowering Small Businesses
Delaware Limo recently transformed its headquarters into an innovative meeting space by hosting a one-of-a-kind roundtable discussion on a parked party bus. The event brought together Delaware Senator Chris Coons and members of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Voices, fostering open dialogue about the pressing challenges faced by small business owners in today’s economy.
During the conversation, participants emphasized the importance of access to affordable capital, which would enable local businesses like Delaware Limo to secure bank loans and fuel their growth. Elorm Ahiamadjie, Delaware Limo’s Co-founder and CEO, and a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business program, shared his aspirations for additional funding to create more job opportunities and enable his company to contribute more to both the community and its employees.
The group also delved into the urgent need to modernize and reauthorize the Small Business Administration (SBA), which has remained unchanged since 2000. Senator Coons expressed his dedication to championing the reauthorization of the SBA and supporting SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives – another vital resource for entrepreneurs.
As both host and participant, Ahiamadjie expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with Senator Coons and fellow business leaders.
